Our Story.
On June 21, 2019, I lost one of my best friends, York Jonas King. As teenagers, Jonas and I spent nearly every day together. When we grew older I moved away, and when I began my fitness journey, I had no idea where to start. Jonas guided me with constant encouragement and his powerlifting experience, helping me build the foundation of what I know today. After his passing, YJK Performance is my way to honor him, immortalize his memory and share the knowledge, grit, and discipline he helped instill in me.
